Now I remember why the Ghoul's Forest series mods, Mods for Doom 2 made by cutmanmike, reminded me so much of a certain game from my childhood! This has to be where he got his inspiration from! I mean look at the similarities, in both you have a single guy running around a forest attempting to kill deadly monsters that kill him with a single hit. Both are scary, well this was way back when. And both games have a main character with a bow who has a limited amount of arrows.

I too loved this game as a kid. I would play it at night and I would turn the volume up almost to the max. The lightning was so damn scary.

This is one of the few games in history that gave me chills. I mean: REAL atmosphere!It was pure genius: if you ran, you couldn't fight back! An the music was awesome at the time. The sequels were bad. I still hope to see its comeback in real terrifying 3D...
