I 've been a nurse for > 30 yrs(in the south) and barely make over $50,000/yr and pension ?? whats that? ....... I would like to retire soon and eat something other than cat food :(

This is such a great video. There is passion and compassion in the voices and messages of these nurses. Old School nurses who don't forget why they went into nursing (a mission to serve and better the lives of their patients)--- deserve a giant sincere Saa--lute!!

I REALLY like what the last nurse says...I couldn't agree more! I see so many student nurses now who don't really have much of a clue about actually 'caring for' patients with their various and often complex needs. Nursing is both an art AND a science...the science is critical, yes, but the art must not go by the wayside in the process. Thanks for a great video.

The best RN's with whom I have worked began as nurses aides, then were LPN's and progressed to RN's. The best doctors with whom I have worked were aides,medics, transport aides before they were MD'sThe only job I've ever held was that of an RN.There is an arrogance of self importance unless you start at the entry level. |
