....uuhmmm....sorry but Sepultura, and Slayer can prove that ideal wrong. However, you are right when you compare the hair metal and "heavy" metal of that era. Metal didnt become heavy as FUCK until around 1993 in my opinion. Meshuggah is a fucking PHENOMINAL band too.
