By 1993, Gansta and hard-core rap ruled the airwaves. I loved this song, but the image didn't fit him. Had he doned the look he had a year after this song came out, it would have worked because it would have been urban, but clasy. It was sad how majority of the people he tried to help didn't appreciate his genorousity.

When I see this it makes me sad. Hammer trying to be something he is not. He looks like a clownish gangster wannabe. He wasted his money on people who can't be helped. His music became repetitious and stale. I liked his first two records before he went big. What a sad story.

His show was hot. He had some young females doing all the routines except the one where the ladies were upside down. He also performed a new song from his album and he didn't lose breath or break a sweat. The only thing I felt was that he shouldn't have cut U Can't Touch This. Other than that his show was hot.

You actually saw him perform live last year? It is great to know he is still out there doing his thing! How was the show? tell me all about it! I watch this video over and over because the dancing is just almost too much to handle lol! I imagine he must have put these steps together only Hammer can move like that!

Thanks for the compliments. I do appreciate it and I'm grateful to see that there are lots of people who like Hammer. Though I'm from New York, I loved his music and enjoyed seeing him perform live last year for the first time. I just can't beleive how many people were hating on him because being the so-called rapper. He had his own style and I loved how he was able to showcase his talents.

I hope you understand how much I appreciate all of the great points you make about Hammer as a performer and just as a human being I think he is probably one of the best around. I thought Funky head hunter was his best album it has so many great beats, I wish there were videos to songs on that album. But you make my day thanks for the messages and the knowledge. I cannot think of any artist past or present that gave so many great things to others as he has.
