ya hes got alot of gass gettin thrown out and its burnin off as its gettin thrown. MY friends a track racer and he said he see's it all the time.

I had nothing to do with tuning this car, but I assume it is part of the "anti-lag" feature. it retards ignition timing and over fuels to allow the mixture to burn after the exhaust valve open. This lets the force of combustion be used to spool the turbo, not push the pistons down. Very helpful on cars with large turbos that need boost to stay up between shifts and out of corners.

the fire at about 1:30 when he goes into overrun is insane.... that's some looooooooong duty cycles!! haha

fuel dump pretty much, it's running super rich. you see the dark smoke also? good indicator of left over fuel in the exhaust burning.
