Birks of Invermay, Tartan Day 2008

Here I am in my new kilt (Ferguson tartan) from the Highland Store, performing a traditional Scottish tune, "The Birks of Invermay." The song was a favourite of Scottish poet Robert Fergusson, who was a major influence on Burns. My arrangement owes much to that of Karine Polwart.
