The 'laptop situation' probably refers to an 'easy' setup that is mobile and usable while travelling.I would guess that, given he has unlimited funds, he would use a good laptop, a high quality USB or Firewire audio interface, most likely ProTools, along with a number of 3rd party software synth and sampler plugins.I would guess that is the 'laptop situation' he is referring to ...
