For this Song, the guitar is in STANDARD tuning. The song is in A major. He is retuning the guitar before playing this song, because the previous one was in open D tuning.

Yes it's standard but when he picks the gtr up it's in DADGAD (I think he must have just finishd playing Out on the Western Plain) at the start. Perhaps hence yr initial confusion.

£4000? that's nuts. Some how I don't think Rory would like that. I have a feeling he might think it a rip off by a great guitar company who lost it's way and forgot about the average man on the street, after all, blues players aren't exactly known for their deep pockets.
