Okay first of all, there's a couple of things that most non-musical people won't catch. Jake's main arsenal is Beatles tunes; he said in Central Park his favorite artist was George Harrison. In this vid he's wearing a John Lennon shirt. Second, when they improvise on the Beatles song Something at the end, it truly shows Char's musicianship because Jake teaches him some alarming and difficult chord patterns, and he picks them up instantly. It is not easy to improvise randomly in chromatic scales.
