Tell me, my friend, can there ever be another and that has the same sense of out and out freedom that The Doors had? That same sense that anything could happen? The poetry? The beauty? The ugliness? No freakin' way my friend. Any band you hear nowadays is playing the same song just as you heard it on the CD or just as you downloaded it on iTunes. There will never be another Doors.

I'm still waiting . . . I think Nirvana was good, but I don't think there will ever be a band as good as The Doors in my lifetime.
