he actually could have been good as sawyer. It's just that you all not very smart people have some one to compare matthew (jack) to josh (saywer).if jack was saywer and saywer jack then you all would say it the different way.

I am pretty sure Fox auditioned for him becuase Jack was supposed to die in the pilot but because of so many bad reactions to the reading, he was kept on, and the original actor didn't want to play him because he didn't want to do a full show.
