What he fails to mention is that when the Hyrdogen is produced, it also makes a highly toxic Chlorine Gas....... yep good idea..... gotta find a way to neutralize the chlorine gas.

The way you are hooking up your electrodes is creating a constant magnetic field, as current is continually flowing in the same way through the helix.You will be able to reduce and/or eliminate this field if you connect your cathode and anode both on the left or both on the right side of the helix, rather than one on each side.I'm curious to see what effect the magnetic field has, as it might help deflect ions that would normally be escaping and nudging them toward the electrodes.

Heat is a factor in all the cells you can use more solution or go with a series cell that has very little heat. Another option is to make a simple radiator for cooling your solution using thermal dynamics. The Double Helix is the coolest running so far.

23% Potassium Hydroxide by weight to the water. And I use a modified computer 600Watt power supply it gives me 2 through 24 volts upto 24 Amps
