What a mind fuck it must be if he remembered this scene from when he still was alive..He would be able to predict his each and every move because.. Well.. It was himself that did them.And why the heck isn´t he commenting on the fact that Raziel is speaking with Raziels voice?.. Uhh... Oh shi-!

Exactly. Raziel and Kain were both meant to come full circle. Kain was meant to die at Raziel's hand and Raziel was meant to enter the reaver. The difference in prophecy being that Kain survived and Raziel chose to enter the reaver in Defiance, thus giving chance for "that terrible illusion: Hope"

I believe 'lieutenant' is the word you're searching for. :) It's a military rank still used today in the US and if I'm not mistaken also in England (perhaps other European countries?), and is fairly high ranking. In this context, it's more or less 'second in command'.

raziel sealed his own fate, by killing himself when he went back in time, raziel died by his own hand. Kain resurrected raziel into vampiric form, and titled him as luitent or something.raziel just forgot (watch opening cinematic..a thousand years have past) whatever happened if raziel was not tricked into killing himself, then the sword would not have turned on himself. Kain is not the bad guy. .in the end raziel had to come full circle

kain was a leader of power bad guys. so when he was younger, before tearing off raziel wings, he had to be worse than the men he was leading or he would be seen as weak and a mutiny was bound. Raziel was given the dark secret of flight. Surpassing Kain. If kain was going to keep leverage over his men, he had to ensure nobody would surpass his powers, especially raziel whom just recieved the ability of flight. Kain regretted casting raziel into the abyss. He also refused to kill raziel again. |
