Eeekkk!!!! This song was the number 1 single the day that i was born. Please don't hate me for it. At least it wasn't 'Itsybitsy teenieweenie yellowpolkadotbikini.' Should have been the number 2 single. It stinks look bull dookie.

Lol! One of the many Songs I responded to as a Kid Age 9. My Big Brother got a ''Tape Recorder'' for Christmas when this Song was still a hit. I would attempt to sing along with Tony while pretending that Dawn was behind Me Singing. all the while being recored by My Brother. the line I always Nailed'' i'll stay on the Bus,forget about Us. put The blame on Meeeee.......... Then I flubbed the rest. Lol! The good ol' Days.

I love this song. It's not the best song ever but it has some kind of classic thing that makes you love it. My grandad was in prison when I was little when this was out and I never quite grasped the whole concept. I loved going to see him and singing this song and he'd sing it with me. I'm older now and I don't care - this song is great and well what's done is done..

This is the first song I remember in my life - I'd just turned 4 years of age in April 1973, and it was played on the radio all the time and I guess it's when I first appreciated any music for it's melody or rythym, ironically the first time I heard it was when my Father had a small transistor radio that we were listening to whilst waiting for a Bus, and the Bus Stop happened to be next to an old oak tree, which helped my Father explain the lyrics to a somewhat, curious little boy lol
