Ah how quick you forget about Commander Farsight, who led a number of Tau away from their Empire and the greater good to form a ring of colonies of their own. They too are considered rebels against the Etherals. Furthermore, no Tau alien ally, except perhaps Gue'va, will join with his Cadre
