You wouldn't have to worry about the broken glass due to:1. Car windows are made of that powderglass stuff2. The water would dramatically slow the impact of the glassbut man it would suck if you didn't have the powerpunch or manual windows.

i found them at CVS for $20they are spring loaded when you get them.you hold it against the glass and push the button.the window shatters and you can get out.as far as broken glass goes would you rather get a few cuts or sink to the bottom.1 try rolling down the window2 try opening the door3 break window with Power Punch4 wish your car wasn't at the bottom of the lake.

ok you can try to open the door as a first resort, but the power punch is a very good last resort.. have you ever seen what a power punch can do?
SbrubbleMaster (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
IF you manage to find the POWER PUNCH while the water is pouring in, or even worse: you're totally submerged. It would be easier to install a divers tank under the seat :)If you notice the car is sinking, get out quickly, while its still possible to push the door open. As both Top Gear and Mythbusters proved, you may never be able to do it afterwards.

your right but adreniline realy realy helps...and if you actually read my comment you would have noticed that i was talking about the POWER PUNCH which breaks windows ( i finanly found out what it was called).
SbrubbleMaster (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
Yeah but I would always try the door in first place. If the water fills in too fast you will be: A. Movement impaired by the water density, making it difficult to break any windows. B. Running low on oxygen quickly, and even quicker by exerting yourself. |
