The Republican party has to decide whether they want to be the traditional Republican party of fiscal conservativism, capitalist economics, libertarian principles and small government. Or whether they want to be a party of populist Christian fundamentalists. The interests of these two constituents are diverging to the point of being irreconcilable. It will either continue to lurch and swerve along while these two interest groups fight over the steering wheel, or it will split into two parties.

well, I strongly believe that if all states start to go blue,it will be a tragedy. Conservative principles are needed now, more than ever. Issues such as Abortion, Gay Marriage and Immigration laws will suffer if the Liberals are allowed to run this country. A strong America is what we need if we are going be the hope of the Earth. Also, do you really want to lose the war on terror?? Do you really want to give AlQaida that kind of satisfaction and let them continue to terroize Americans?
