My mother passed in her sleep last January. She was 73. She had 6 sons that grew up to be football players, police officers and oilfield roughnecks. Up to her sudden death she always treated us grown men like we were still her little babies, worrying about all of us. When she passed, you saw 6 big tough grown men with their families weep like little kids. We love you momma and miss you very much. We all agree that your passing was because God needed an angel. Well, he got one.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. It reminds me so much of one of my uncles. He was very close to my grandmother and this song describes them so well. We lost her back in '03 and he didn't get the chance to say goodbye.
