You are so right. Especially captain Yonoi's make up. I think the make up artist tried to make Sakamoto looked very oriental (which is so unnecessary. That guy is an oriental guy with oriental look)

No. You may as well criticise the scene of Bowie portraying his characters life prior to his military service - as a senior school student. It was a movie, not a documentary.
