I mostly agree with you there, but you should definitely check out k.d. lang's version (I prefer the Sydney one)... She does an incredible cover of Hallelujah... :)

Getting the words wrong is pretty unforgivable. The buckley version is the definitive best performance of the song.

i definetly think it's best done slow and by either wairwright or buckley...but for a girl, i think she did a good job. and ya that ounds bad, i am a girl, but i just think that this song is meant for a mans voice. maybe its BECAUSE im a girl but i think a guys deep tones capture the songs emotions much better... |
