Ya Korn was different and badass but they didnt innovate. As far as saying they changed metal forever...arrogant and egotistical. There are too many aspects of metal...heavy or hardcore or thrash or whatever to say they had an affect on every aspect of metal...please dude rofl. ummmm, slightly wrong in that list the red hot chilli peppers came around way before korn. There first album was in 1984. Korns was in 1994 lol.

lol dont believe me? korn was around before slipknot, godsmack, linkin park, red hot chilli peppers, limp bizkit, all these bands have been influenced by korn, trying to obtain that "perfect" metal/alternative mix that makes a perfect rock song, and you can look it up if you want, theere are quotes from the bands saying bands who they are inspired from, and korn was in the top 3 for all bands. :P
