the net user thing may work but not if you only have one account and the password is built into your harddrive so there is no way you can access that account unless you think ahead and download ERD

so how is this not a program? u can change password in winxp like this.-at cmd promt, type "net user" then the name of the account, then the new password.-like this: net user Administrator passwordworks every time. boot into safe mode to get to prompt if you don't have a secondary account to log in to.
