To get stem cells from a blastocyst they don't perform abortions, they fertilize an egg in a petri dish and take the stem cells form the blastocyst. This occurs before the fetus is actually created. Your body doesn't even recognize that you're pregnant until the hormones are released a few days after the blastocyst is created.

I am not agreeing nor disagreeing with you, but I believe they are called fetuses, not babies. There's a big difference. :)

I believe in stem cell research but not in abortion! You can get stem cells from different parts of your own body and they are naturally there so it is not odd or some kind of devil cure. Also adults that choose to donate there body to science can also have there stem cells used. Killing babies is wrong and asked someone who has had a abortion I promise you they regret it and feel guilty. God bless all and may stem cells cure us from disease and fight off death.
