Jim Flahery has to be the most uninformed, naive politician I've ever seen! His tax reforms will result in a reduction of inputs, not the increases that he claims. His classification of the deferred tax base as untaxed makes this abundantly clear. Kiss that budget surplus goodbye! Canadians will be suffering for years to come due to his ill advised policies.

The bickering is over, and General Motors is fine having to lay of 1200 Canadian workers. What do we pay these people for? They are drawing the pay yet refuse to do the work. It's easier to deny the existance of things such as Global Warming, problems in Afghanistan or the fact this government is deducting income tax via employment insurance premiums.

Well, they are using a Rolling Stones tune. IIRC Chairman Pierre was friendly to the Stones...or was it Maggie? Either way, the Lieberals probably have a blanket permission.

Well, the Lieberals are trying to "sell" themselves. What is marketing? It's propoganda...Socialist propoganda through history has masked and hidden a truth that wouldn't be acceptable to reasonable and rational people. Those who "bought" into a Lieberal-type ideology have, historically, paid for it with their and their families lives.Ditch your rose-coloured glasses kids and you too will see.
