What IF it fails? Its failing right now. The only thing is while cash is being bandied about to all and sundry who sould not have it, the companies are looking good. When the support stops flowing there will be some elightenment. I hope i'm wrong, but what success story is this all modeled on?

The voice of reason among all the babbling from those who know nothing but catch-words from the street. The only reason Democrats end up with a lower deficit is because they pull the money right out of the pockets of the taxpayers. The US is at a turning point in our next election, and as a history teacher, I know that it will take a minimum of 20 years to evaluate the presidency of George Bush. I predict we will realize he was a better leader than some think now.

"Mbeki did OK with the SA economy. "Pleaaaase ! The Economy grew because it was stunted by sanctions for so long and because the EU and the USA want the new SA to work and invested heavily in SA (imagine if it fails ! what a rebuttal of all the liberal views that multiculturalism is a good thing).

There's very little to none news interest within the USA from any news media. BBC have more news information on whats going on in South Africa than any media in the US. I've seen reports of open child prostitution white and black, while officers drive right by. There's no stopping it because there's no money to put more officers on the streets to put the end of child prostitution. The USA has to many laws in place that protect minors not always but at most more protection. |
