Aye! It took Lasater a VERY long time to get Miyazaki to consent to Disney getting the rights for english under those conditions.Rumour has it that during Miramax's dubbing for Mononoke Hime, they wanted to change something around. Miyazaki is said to of sent a Katana with a note saying 'No cuts' Thus the idea of the No cuts rule. But no. Miyazaki would never let that happen to his precious movies.

Two things: 4Kids would NEVER get it or if they could you wouldn't have to worry b/c Miyazaki is a strictly NO CUTS director. Two Miyazaki has expressed no desire to have his work made into live action

that's not just it. they'd prbly would try to inject a meaning to the plot,to define it or smth...blehh. the whole essence of Miyazaki's movies is about how simplistic things can be, yet there's always something deeper, its how all his movies always seem to have multiple levels to it,like no matter how many times you watch it,everytime, you seem to discover something new...i really dont see how they'd bring that out in a live action film...

i swear, that would totally suck D:. i want the live action to look almost exactly like the film only with real people. |
