By saying "develop anorexia", I meant those who just want to be skinnier so they claim to have anorexia. I think that is totally stupid, and really demeaning and harsh towards those who do suffer with anorexia. It wasn't being harsh, it is stupid to pretend to have anorexia and no-one can dispute that.

you do sound kinda harsh.i mean you did say "I think people who start not eating to try and become thin and then "develop" anorexia are stupid", you're calling them stupid.let me tell you from my own personal experiene b/c i suffer fom bulimia that yes i started because i wanted to be skinnier.but it's so much more than just wanting to be skinnier though. at least it was for me.there was so much going on in my life which lead to me developing the disorder & it wasn't just wanting to be skinnier.

How was I being harsh? I said, I have all the sympathy in the world for people who truly suffer from anorexia, because I know how it feels to suffer from a mental disorder because I suffer from one, and I care for my parents who both suffer from serious mental disorders.I wasn't being harsh.

*sigh* Don't you ever actually read? I said I felt really sorry for the people who truly have the mental disorder, but I have no sympathy for celebrities who claim anorexia when really they aren't struggling with the disorder at all, they just want to be a bit thinner. Maybe if you'd read instead of jumped at the opportunity to cause an argument, you might have noticed that.

People call the voice they hear in thier head ana, also, poeple who start not eating to loose weight cant controll there mind, because there body is at thier weakest and its hard to tell wether its you ar the voice telling you your fat, its not a choice it just happends you shudnt be so smalll minded =/having anorexia myself i should know.

dumb arse...it is a mental disorder. its not just wantin to be thin its feeling so low that the only thing that makes u feel good at all is starving yourself. ive never had anorexia but jesus have some sensetiivity!!
