Nah, the media in my country isn't run from the government. The people that write your foreign policy obviously haven't learnt anything from the past 50+ years of the same mistakes, education goes a long way.

This of course was positive information regarding the war on terror and specifically in Iraq. That is why it didn't get coverage on the news. Darned shame when those in this country basically are rooting for us to lose and hate it when we aren't. Perhaps they don't realize the border can be crossed to leave the country if they hate it that much.

of course it's not... it's more important to rip a 17 year old girl for having a kid, something Obama's mother actually did when having Obama...reporting on success in Iraq is something part of the liberal media sees as garbage.When we start withdrawing troops over the next months or years, they will not report on this day as a great day, but will only state that THEY WERE RIGHT GO BLAH BLAH BLAH....

sad thing is this isn't getting much coverage. This is really big in Iraq. Unfortunately the media is too busy focusing on other things....like pregnant 17 yr olds.. but I digress and am not gonna open up a can of worms and turn this into an OBAMA/MCCAIN SUCKS debate with many many !!!!!!

Yeah, destabilise the whole country by invading and stealing its resources then congratulate yourself when the enemy decides to swap sides because you accepted that military prowess would not win against them and initially informally and now formally gave them back their control and provide monetary and military assistance. If you can't control them give them weapons and lots of money and bribe some love. Hope it doesn't come to haunt anyone in the future.
