What's that? There's war instead of peace? Well I'll be jiggered if that's ever happened before....

Saudi Arabia is ruled by a royal family with close ties with US elites, with most of the petro-dollars going through US banks, and with close ties with the US military. They also happen to be the most repressive arab country. It's no accident they are considered the "crown jewel" of US foreign policy, according to a high US official.

But we do have a good relationship with the largest oil producer in the world (Saudi Arabia) so why not just pump them dry?

Very good, it looks like you're well on your way to a promising carreer in broadcast journalism. You have the pre-requisite: the knowledge that America is good in all it does, even when it occupies and plunders a country with the 2nd largest oil reserves and installs permanent military bases and the largest embassy in the world.

No they're not. Democracy hasn't failed. of every Iraq war vet I've talked to they all say the people want us there. If you listen to these guys this is just truth. Maybe the war didn't start under the best circumstances but it can end in a way that makes everyone happy.

These iberal cocksuckers have no sense of reality, to actually think US thugs are bringing a gift called Democracy to Iraq, and feeding this to the public at large. These blowhards are nothing short of criminals and cheerleaders of empire.

We failed to provide security for the majority of moderates in Iraq and that is so sad. Trying to do it "on the cheap" with minimal troops end up costing us and them so much more.

Don't build castles in a place you don't intend to live... We can either use our influence to build lasting relationships based upon sound business principles or,Well...Just continue what we've been doing lately.
