I liked The Carpenters' version, but I like this cover in a different way. It's sad, haunting, mysterious and I like that Thurston sings it so soft.

i love the way this is sung its not such a song to be made into a big production its much more mono tone it really gets your atenttion as for the lazzer noices im not sure...

I wouldn't call that playing. She's gently tapping the high hat, that's all. Also, I'm not an idiot. I just didn't pay attention to the video that well. I was commenting on the frequent pictures of Karen Carpenter.
