no man, not true. may be 2000 years ago, not now. now it's only making a profit for the politicians, for the mans of the power, whose NEVER send their sons to join the army, expecially during a war. it's all a big lie, u.s.a. homes and families was NOT in danger during vietnam or iraq, but governments sent STRAIGHT TO HELL thousand and thousand of innocent guys.

way to spell iraq wrong dumbass, oh and a soldier signs up to serve and follow orders, and army wouldnt function if they chose when and where to fight so dont blame them, they are always heroes its the leaders who are at fault

I'm more than sure they get the idea that's pro-peace and anti-war (especially the lyrics where it says "do you remember what the draftman said ? Nothing to do all day just stay in bed" - that's major propaganda). They just ignore it and take it as a Pro-Army song.

As long as there is an official declaration of WAR against your country yes. I consider soldiers heroes too. But as long as your army goes to a foreign country without being provocated (The lame excuse with the Afghans and the lamer one with Irak being perfect examples) I just consider them poor souls. To be the tools of a power hungry government.
