How's this - you guys make an impressive run to the playoffs, get eliminated in seven games, managing to keep a great deal of dignity and knowing that you did a damn good job at giving us a run for our money.So what happens when your star player, who may be the greatest player in the league atm, stands at center ice and applauds the fans? More than half of the stands had already emptied. At least when we leave it's because our team is shit, your team at least TRIED.

Yea u were right, there were only 10 flyer fans in DC during this years playoffs. But that guy you say is named after french cheese seemed to wreak havoc on the Caps in the playoffs. Also your best player seemed to be named after a soviet army men from WWII.

Dude, I am a season ticket holder for the caps -- and generally I would agree about the split in fans. But you can't deny that during the playoffs this year that there were about 10 flyers fans in the building for the caps home games.And, your best player is a midget named after some french cheese. Enjoy that.

no comparison between the capitals and flyers history wise. Same thing goes for comparison of fans. Flyers win both easily. unlike capital games flyers home games never get divided between visiting fans and home fans. capitals home games always seem to get dominated by visiting fans such as the rangers, penguins, and flyers fans. Also flyers have a better winning percentage from 1975 till today. So debate over, sorry Cap fans !!LETS GO FLYERS
