thats not a funnel cloud if it was it would be spinning no matter what
rosson6989 (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
when was this and where was it?

The top part of the funnel was moving counterclockwise - as most tornados do - but the bottom part was rotating clockwise. The counterclockwise rotation in a wall cloud that low would be enough to make me go inside.

that i belive is a stud cloud that if that cloud would of been bigger it would of caused a screw tornado wrapped in rain

I correct myself.......no scud cloud just a lower lying cloud that is still attached to the biger supercell cloud...confusing eh

I'm going with tornadolover101 on this one. I highly doubt that was a funnel cloud. It could've been a low lying cloud. There was no rotation and that was not a wall cloud. Besides if you notice the video was sped up to make it look like a funnel was forming. Seriously look at the cars and people as they go by.

to tell you the truth., That wasnt a funnal cloud. It was just a low turblence wind flow that causes clouds to move/drop down like that. No harm done.
