Mike Gravel never ran for president as an independent, but rather ran in Democratic primaries, but after being ignored and ridiculed by the Democratic party, ran in the Libertarian Party primary convention for the Libertarian nomination. Today he is a registered Libertarian.

I think it's amazing that he got down to Dorm levelstudents and talks to them, I hope he is elected.

I think Gravel is a hypocrite. He uses the democratic party to get into the debates and then run as independent. Your NOT independent if your a member of the democratic party. Mad respect to Ross Perot and Nader for being true independents as well as Ron Paul for being honest!
