The conductor is Sir Georg Solti and the orchestra is the London Symphony Orchestra, I believe.

I am wrong this time. It is better to play the immediate FF than with a crescendo there.

This is a lovely concerto except those doubled forte in the first two arpeggios :) They have no any other purpose but to impress the audience by the pianist's big hands and skill I think. |
