iam if you quit makin ludacris comment's like emceeing is the best it's ever been & krs wasn't hot 20yrs ago i might. until next time you make a profound comment about krs or how amazing the lyrical content is these days. you make me laugh & cringe with your deep historical knowledge (i mean lack thereof with such ridiculous remarks about one of the biggest LEGENDS in hip hop.)anybody who was older than 10 in 1988 and was listening to bdp would understand the huge impact krs has had.

By the way Tony, you don't have to try to insult me when you leave me a comment. This is like the third time I have said that to you. Would you please just comment on what I say, and leave the name calling for the boys?

"list off 3 mc's who you think can even be compared to the likes of rakim, krs, kool g rap, big daddy kane" If any of the emcees you just named dropped anything today it wouldn't be considered hot. And it is not because people don't know what Real hiphop is or that there is a conspiracy to keep Real hiphop out of the lime light. They just are not as talented as the new school. They are pioneers of rap, not the best rappers. I know it's hard to comprehend but it is true.

Music has become artless, that's the problem

respect to krs-one... he never sold his music for the money like others did and he is still respectable , rich and famous

When you say "everywhere", that's diversity, but that's been happening a long time ago, but it was only local in New York because at the time, that's where the money was, and when it started to spread, people wanted to do it themselves. It wasn't til about the 80's when the world wanted to do so.When I said little to no individuality means that, even in different countries, about 85% of people is talking about the same thing, day in and day out, meaning, it's losing some of it's hunger.
IamTheGrither (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
"there's little to no individuality in much music anymore". I have to disagree. HipHop is more diverse than it has ever been. It is no longer localised to New York. There is hiphop coming out of every state in this country and there is hiphop coming out of Canada, Europe, Africa, South America, basically everywhere. Nowadays you hear the voices you would have never heard 15 years ago.
