also cdaniels7689 western interpretations of jesus were anti semitic back then generally and therefore made him look aryan to appeal to westeners.When u conbine what iv sed its hard to argue that he was 'probably' not white i could never claim to have evidence to prove it. type in to search engine 'colour of jesus' or sumthin to get sum scholars views on the matter

Although ill admit nobody can ever proof out right that he was not white but its almost a certainty due to sum elements. eg where he lived and was born. He was a middle eastern jewish man who probably spoke a form of arabic or hebrew. also the theory is he lived as child in egypt. how could he fit in at this time unless he looked like other of that community?

This song is about a decadent man who has been living the good life on a "throne." But he is about to die, becoming purely spirit ("leave your body alone"). The man will then meet God. "Home," of course, is Heaven. The man is questioning his wasted life, which is rapidly coming to an end. Now the man laments what he didn't do, as he waits longingly to meet Christ. ("You are the reason I have been waiting all these years."). As Baby Boomers start to die off, this song will become more poignant.

He NEVER called him Jesus. He simply stated that he had the "Jesus Look" There is only one Christ and that is the BOTTOM LINE

I do have a concern about the part in your comment that states that Jesus was almost certainly not whie. What facts do you posess to make that assertion? The paintings depict him a certin way so it the burden of proof is on you to make your case.

why is it insulting? i mean what is termed as the 'jesus look' is very much what tommy is workin these days. that look is common in rock and originates from biblical interpretations from artists painting jesus. remember the real jesus almost certainly wasn't white for starters and did not look the way he has been represented in art. so im not seein how i have offended u, but if u wana tell me how, ill consider it and if i then agree with u ill apologise
