I love him!!! I grew up on listening to Allen Jackson. Now, when you're in Kentucky, farther you go south, farther you get into the country. I am southern. (I hide my country accent... school is rough with that) Good bless the south!!! There IS a place in haven for us!!!

This song represents what used to be good about this country.Sadly the man he describes in this song is becoming an endangered species.

I saw this video om Thanksgiving 08. I lived in Farmerville La. Evacuated from N.O. before Katrine. Lived in Ohio for the most of my life. This song and video tells it all about southern men I cried when I saw this. I sure hope that this way WILL NEVER die. The wonderful people of the south make this great country its name. Godfearing, Patriots and good wholesome family men. I know they're good men all throughout this land? However the south we all need to get this back to restore this country.
