Tiger Woods is the most mentally focused golfer in the world. I lol'd at the fact that his dad tried to mess him up!! When he is on the golf course playing in a match or tournament, golf must be the only thing on his mind golfinstructionsonline . blogspot . com

Parents are too busy or it's simply too much of an effort on the parents part. But Earl poured everything he had into Tiger as a father should and look at what we have today. A Champion of Champions on the golf course. I do wish Earl would have instilled more of his Christian faith in Tiger though.

I think that Earl recognized how he as a father can influence his son into being the best that Tiger could be. All children are born with the same potential but most parents don't bother recognizing the greatness that lies within each child.

Yes but don't you think that a Father (RIP) is allowed to be insanely proud of what his son has accomplished? Therefore allowed to talk higher of him than other people...Just my opinion - I could be wrong...

earl knew he has someone special on his hands early and what was so amazing about him was that he was not afraid of bragging about tiger becuse he knew he could back it up
