Messina has such a MELODIC sound and his touch on the fretboard kills me...Kossoff too: very original and such a signature sound. Cipollina's sound is ethereal, almost unearthly in a good way; and of course Mick Taylor, a standout guitarist with pure soul.

John Cipollina was the most unique & original sound of my generation. So glad I was able to see him play from 1966 with QMS almost every weekend until he left the band at the end on 1970. Then caught him with Copperhead, Terry & the Pirates, & many other bands.

Shit I'm 58! Come on someone older? Saw QMS many times in the old Fillmore, and Cipollina really knew his stuff! Headlines this group!
