Can this be applied to other types of plants; hot peppers for example?

the tops are new growth. you really have to watch the plant and see what branches have been around the longest to know what is more mature.

fuck this fagget hes so fucking wrong he doesnt no wat the fuk hes doing ive been growing and cloning kush chronic and stress for ten years and this fag is completely wrong dont listen to this fag

No, youre wrong. The tops root faster. As well as grow better and stronger at first. They are more mature.
jackntilly (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
hes fukin wrong - you should take cuttings from the bottom of the mother plant.......

Cool, lots of experience. Lots of great advice in an approachable delivery. I had known scraping the cambium or splitting the stem increases root, but the peeling of the flesh node is great, it exposes the flesh in the most natural way. GREAT TIP! I have a QUICK QUIZ for you...Why the 45o angle? Not exposure... may aid in pressure gradients ... but the main reason?????To allow excess water to drip away but keep a bolus - droplet on the tip, preventing an Air Emboli. See BOLUS. Cool huh ?

1. Clip branch at 45 degree angle and immediately dip in cloning solution.2. Make sure no air gets into clone stem.3. Place solutioned clone into new growing area.So much easier than this video. |
