He wanted me to thank you for showing him around last week. Did he get to see everything that he wanted? MICHELLE: Yeah, he was really interested in checking out the factories that are making the new line of cars, so I took him out there and George, the plant manager, gave him a tour. GREG: Good. Did he visit the research and development offices? MICHELLE: Yes, we spent a full day there. Mr. Fernandez spoke with an R and D engineer who developed the new engine for us last year. GREG: What was the name of that engineer you spoke with? MICHELLE: Jim Landers, I think. GREG: Is Jim the one who has an Australian accent? He's kind of a tall guy . . . the one who has a beard, right? MICHELLE: Yes, that's the one. Do you know him? GREG: Yes, he's one of our best engineers. He helped set up the new plant. I'm glad Mr. Fernandez could meet him. MICHELLE: Yeah, me too. Anyway, after touring R and D and the factories, I brought Mr. Fernandez to the head offices where we met up with the CFO and a few of the board of directors.GREG: And everything went smoothly? MICHELLE: Yeah, he seemed to be very pleased with what he saw and very excited about our new projects. He said that he'll make the final decision next week.
