The best thing about this scene, I think, is the trust and appreciation in his eyes. He has no idea what she's going to do, but he's a dreamer just like her, and he's enchanted :)I also love the cat dosily watching them, and the Glassman saying "Hey!!"This movie is beautiful and perfect in every way.

Oh, well I never thought all her problems were going to be solved by loved. She seemed to be able to cope just fine with the rest of the world, without a lover. I thought the only problem she would be resolving was her loneliness.

I'm not saying romantic love doesn't exist. There wouldn't be much meaning to my life if I thought it didn't. I'm just saying it doesn't happen like *this*. This film is intentionally over-romanticised!There's definately a religious faith quality to the idea of falling in love with somebody and having all your problems solved like this.
