I just got my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube in Minnesota. They charged me for 8 quarts of oil when my owner's manual clearly states that it takes 6. What is worse is that my car is now leaking oil. They stripped the threads on my oil pan, and instead of telling me or fixing it, they tried to stop the leak with a couple rubber stoppers, which did not work. I brought the car back and they claimed that they are not responsible. Jiffy Lube is a fucking scam!!!

ok i am the store manager for jiffy lube in madison.. i can promise you that things have changed since this happened.. if anything like this were to happen in my store id have every one of my guys balls on a rope.. jiffy lube is one of the most respected names in the quick lube business for a reason.. the hell with these lazy bastards come see me at jiffy lube in madison on juction court.. tell them u read this and we will give u 10$ off

You can open a shop called "jwanx89x lube", and do the right thing all day long. By being a part of that chain, you BENEFIT from their national advertising and their corporate goodwill, so sorry, you ARE partly responsible for what the other Jiffy Lube's are doing.
