Liars are an extremely talented band and just because a band decides to do something different live doesn't mean that they've been overly processed on record or whatnot. Not everyone wants to be the fucking Eagles live and try to replicate their record as precisely as they can

i think these guys are a testament to the magic of a good studio engineer. i'm into alot of eclectic music, but when i saw them open for radiohead, i think all that could be said was "what the fuck?" the lead singer didnt sound a thing like this, and spent more time taking his shirt off and shoving the mic in his crotch than singing. there was no way in hell anyone could label it as anything but bullshit

yea you do, and it will be totally awesome for you. plus their new cd doesn't sound anything like this. It's more 70's guitar punk and they'll probably play more from that.
