I don't know but...The concept of the song is so close to that of Muddy Watters "I'm a Man" that if I were Muddy I'd have considerd a trip to the plagarist cout room. I love both versions the songs but Steve is given credit as song writter. But check out the almost identical conceptual motivations for these two songs..I'll tell you what..You knew what Muddy was talking about 1st time around..I'd have to go back and really listen to Stevies words to catch what he's talking about

right, I'm working with a Masterpiece Theatre view of England -- it's not 1901 any more -- good point. I'll blame it on my wife, who's an avid Jane Austen fan -- after having seen at least four versions of Pride and Prejudice (against my will), my judgment is certainly suspect -- And from the other side of things, hopefully you have enjoyed the recent political spectacle of Americans going against type, for a change... |
