Thanks. For some reason I thought it might refer to one of the Russian revolutions. Probably should have figured it was the French after Roy mentions Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. D'oh!

Look up the french revolution. Lesser heads of state refer to all the others that headed the Monarchy's administration before the collapse of that government.And if I remember correctly (been years sense I've looked into the french revolution) the soldiers blindfolded them, made them run, and shot them in the back. Kinda as a tribute to what they did to the french people.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but I've always wondered this: What is Roy talking about when he mentions the "lesser heads of state"? Is this a real historical event, and if so, can someone elaborate on it, or at least give me a specific name for it so I can look it up?
