Im against marijuana, I think its sick to practice recreationally and the medical benefits (if any) could be adequatley subsituted. However. I do agree that marijuan should be legalized.I reccomend yall read reefer madness by eric scholosser, same guy who wrote fast food nation.criminalization of the drug has caused an expensive war on drugs, overpopulation of prisons, and a host of other things.6% of our GDP (debatable) is marj jane.Check it out.

I took another look and so i stand corrected. But at least he is not hostile to marijuana, he said he wants to respect states' decisions on the matter, and is waiting for the science to back up pro marijuana claims.

Are you trying to tell me that cartels are a good thing for Mexico?I just think it is sad that such a large country with so many resources can't rise to its full potential because it can't effectively deal with its own corruption and organized crime. Why would you support a culture that doesn't respect basic human rights. Many people died fighting for the freedom that you waste on a culture that divides and destroys society.
