Emanuel, the same reasons the U.S. went to war with Nazi Germany are valid now. The method of the Bin Laden is a bit different than Hitler's. Don't forget that all these countries you say are the result of the former cold war between the USA and the USSR. Fighting fascists be they communist, nationalist or islamist is what the USA do. Where do you have a problem with it. Do you want these radicals to govern you. These people are sick and backward. If you lived under them you'd understand.

Thank you, but I just dont understand the point you are trying to make. Nazi Germany represented a dire, real, and imminent threat to US security, and not potentially but in actuality already had invaded allied nations. But ask? Do Americans do good things? Yes. Are all Americans good? No. And neither is their government, and by extension their foreign policy. Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, etc. etc. all examples of failures in US. "spreading freedom" in the past. You guys should find a new hobby.

by the way thanks for your last non-sarcastic response :)

Emanuel, my question was a very simple Yes or No question. Now you answered with Yes. Now go a step further. What very good reasons had the USA to get involved into a war with Nazi Germany? Wasn't Germany far off the USA? What the heck had the Americans to do in that strange German territory? The Germans had their own culture very different from Americans. Not that different like the Japanese culture but different to the Americans anyway. Go ahead, try to answer my questions.

What reality would that be? The U.S.A. Approved one? WW2? That is a silly tangent. Where the Romans "right" for invading Gaul? You could argue both sides. You mean to ask if the US was justified? Yes. It had very good reason to get involved in that conflict, and was smart for doing so, and the rest of the world the better for it. But if by that you want to demand some kind of blank check, as if by virtue of VDay the US is somehow excused for all accountability the last 50 years, no dice.

Emanuel or should I say Mr. Sarcastic. Why don't you get back to reality. One question for you: Were the Americans right during WW2 to fight Nazi Germany? |
