how can anyone be against it? baby has to eat.. you cant stay home all the time.I agree with lynleybug.. I see people smacking their kids and they get less dirty looks than I have gotten for latching my baby onto my breast even when I do it as discretly as possible

Ok I respect your opinion but what is a mother to do when she is shopping, eating out, etc and baby is hungry? You cannot tell a newborn baby "Wait a moment, we're in public and people don't approve"

If someone can whip out a bottle and shove it in their baby's mouth in public, whats wrong with breastfeeding in public?? Breasts were not made to be sexual, they were made to feed babies. It shouldn't make you "upset" to see someone breastfeeding anymore than it should upset you to see someone bottle feeding

I don't think the breastfeed is a big deal,or even to talk about it~ Anyone who complaint it have some problems with his brain~

I am a newborn nurse and I feel that all women should breastfeed and/or pump, if they are able to. HOWEVER, I do feel that, when in public, they should cover up with a blanket or shawl or something. A lady at my church is nursing her baby and she just "pops it out" in the middle of church, without covering or being discrete. I feel that some women use it as an attention seeking means.

I know some regions in Europe where it's quite normal because it's a biological thing, not sexual (for some US, its too sexual)

formula is a dangerous substitution on a chemical level. there is no match nutrition wise for a mother's milks

I think people should be able to breastfeed in public, but put a blanket over or something |
